School Advisory Council

School Advisory Council
Posted on 09/12/2023

Hello Sydenham PS Families,

It is time to start thinking about this year’s School Advisory Council (SAC)!

We will have positions open on the Council executive for the 23/24 school year, your help is needed!

Sydenham PS is fortunate to have great support from guardians and family members who contribute as volunteers in many capacities.  There are opportunities to suit whatever your interest may be, and to accommodate the amount of time you are able to commit.  Many of our council members work outside of the home and have limited time frames. We strive to be inclusive, and to find a role that best allows you to be a part of the team.  We would love to chat with you if you would like more information.

New members bring new ideas, different perspectives, and our school community is always better represented with more members.

Please join our first meeting if you, OR someone you know is interested in running for a committee position, or to be a general volunteer.

If are unable to meet at for our first meeting, but still would like to be considered for an elected position on the council, please email [email protected] OR [email protected]

Formal Elections for executive positions will be held at our meeting on Thursday, September 21st @ 5:30.

Childcare will be available, please RSVP to [email protected] or [email protected]   PRIOR to September 19th should you require care.

  • You can share your skills

  • You will have FUN!

We are looking forward to meeting new faces, all are welcome!
